Who can be admitted in Torre Sénior? Torre Sénior is a residential unit for elderly people, for people aged 65 or more, who have some functional autonomy or a limitation. It provides assistance in their daily activities as well as medical care and permanent nursing. Exceptionally, Torre Sénior can evaluate the admission of persons who are younger than 65 years and require permanent care and assistance.
Can totally dependent persons be admitted in Torre Sénior? Yes. Senior Tower has conditions to host residents in various functional states, from completely autonomous people to fully dependents. The distinction in terms of accommodation is made by floors and wings.
Torre Senior has a hospitalization wing, with all the characteristics of a hospital unit, with capacity for 28 beds.
What are the costs associated with the admission of a Resident? In return for accommodation and services, Residents pay a monthly fee that varies depending on the type of accommodation and the resident’s health and functional status. In specific cases (depending on the age and type of accommodation), admission can require the payment of an Admission Fee, by which the resident acquires a Permanent User Right ("DUP") which gives the right to enjoy a housing unit, common areas and respective support services for life.
Does Torre Sénior allow the temporary accommodation of a resident? Torre Sénior has a modality of temporary use of residential units where the Resident gets a Temporary User Right ("DUT"). It doesn’t involve the payment of an Admission Fee. This mode is intended preferably at short stays (usually a maximum of six months).
Is the permanent right to use (DUP) transmitted? No. The rights and obligations of a DUP become extinct with with the cessation of the contract for accommodation and services.
